A different sort of air fryer built around glass containers that go from freezer to fryer to table. A premium system for people who cook and store in the same dish.

✓ What we liked
  • Glass containers are microwave, freezer and dishwasher safe
  • Cook and serve from the same dish
  • Strong 1800W crisping
✗ Worth noting
  • Expensive next to a plastic-basket Ninja
  • Glassware is heavier to handle

How it tested

We ran the same battery of tests we use on every air fryer, from frozen chips to fresh wings and roast veg. Here is how it scored on each.

Crispiness — 8.5

The powerful element crisped chips and roasted veg nicely inside the glass. Results were close to a traditional basket.

Crispy food fresh from the air fryer

Evenness — 8.2

Good, steady browning, though tightly packed glass benefits from a stir partway.

Ease of use & cleanup — 8.4

The glass wipes clean and stacks in the fridge with its lids. Prepping ahead and reheating in the same dish is the real draw.

Noise — 7.9

A moderate hum, similar to the basket models.

Design & build

The nicest looking of the range, with clear glassware and a bone-coloured base. It feels premium and stores tidily.

Our verdict

The Crispi Pro is less about raw crisping and more about a tidy cook, store and reheat routine. The glass containers are the whole point and they work well.

You pay a clear premium for that system. If you just want crispy chips for the least money, a basket Ninja makes more sense.

How it compares

Against the plastic-basket Ninjas it swaps a lower price for glassware and flexibility. The smaller Crispi FN101 offers the same idea for less.

Frequently asked

Can the glass go in the freezer?

Yes. The containers are freezer, microwave and dishwasher safe.

Does it crisp as well as a basket?

Nearly. The 1800W element gets close, with a stir on packed loads.

AirFryer Ovens test kitchen · Bought at retail, never supplied by the brand

Every oven runs the same five stages: preheat timing, a frozen chip crispiness run, a full tray evenness test, a full load cook, then noise, energy and cleanup. Scores carry the same weighting on every model, so commission never moves a ranking.

Crisps well and looks great on the counter. Glass is a bit heavy.

Lovely system but pricey. The glass feels lovely though.

Meal prep dream. Cook, lid it, fridge it, reheat it. Same dish throughout.
