✓ What we liked
  • Window lets you check food without opening the drawer
  • Large 9-quart basket suits family cooking
  • Backed by a 3-year warranty
✗ Worth noting
  • Wide footprint on the counter
  • Runs at 1600W, so preheat is steady rather than fast

How it tested

We ran the same battery of tests we use on every air fryer, from frozen chips to fresh wings and roast veg. Here is how it scored on each.

Crispiness — 8.7

Chips and wings crisped up well, and the window made it easy to judge colour and pull them at the right moment.

Crispy food fresh from the air fryer

Evenness — 8.6

Even browning across the large basket, with a shake helping fuller loads.

Ease of use & cleanup — 8.8

The ceramic basket wipes clean and is dishwasher safe. The digital panel is clear and simple to set.

Noise — 8.0

A steady, moderate hum while running.

Design & build

A smart-looking unit with a glass viewing window and a ceramic-lined basket. It is wide, so allow room on the worktop.

Our verdict

The ClearView is a clever take on the basket air fryer. The window sounds like a gimmick but it genuinely helps you avoid over or undercooking, and the size handles real family meals.

You give up some counter space and outright speed for the capacity. The 3-year warranty is a reassuring extra at this price.

How it compares

It holds more than the 6-quart Cuisinart models and adds the window. The dual-basket ADZ-110 is the pick if you would rather cook two foods at once.

Frequently asked

Does the window really help?

Yes. You can see the colour of food without opening the drawer and losing heat.

Is the basket dishwasher safe?

Yes. The glass basket and crisper plate are both dishwasher safe.

AirFryer Ovens test kitchen · Bought at retail, never supplied by the brand

Every oven runs the same five stages: preheat timing, a frozen chip crispiness run, a full tray evenness test, a full load cook, then noise, energy and cleanup. Scores carry the same weighting on every model, so commission never moves a ranking.
